My 5th grade class at Școala 3 has been learning a song that I learned while in the 5th grade at Harman School. It's been a lot of fun and we made some videos to share! Enjoy!! (I tried to upload them here, but had some difficulty, so they are on YouTube links)
And now... the finished project!
Here's a slideshow from Școala 14. One of my 7th grade students moved to Germany last week and I threw a surprise going away party for him. Never have I thrown a sadder party! The kids cried almost the entire time. I had tricked them and told them they were having an important test that day...later, after the party one of my girls came up to me and said, "you were right, having one of our family leave is the hardest test we will ever have!" Many times during the party kids would come up to me, tears streaking down their face, saying, "Thank you so much for this...it's so special!" Wow! What an amazing group of kids these are. In Romanian schools the same kids are with each other from 1st grade on...in the same classroom. So, these kids are close - it was touching to be a a part of their goodbye to Bogdan. I made this video for them.
