What can I say about my friends Linda and Ali?
Sorry, this is an old photo...they took an awesome one at the lunch I recently missed but I can't find it. :( |
- we met about 14 years ago when we all worked at P&G together
- even though we covered three decades in age (not going to mention which ones!) we discovered we were all pretty awesome and knew we were going to be friends.
- after entirely too much fun at WHTC we separated to different sites and brand new jobs but decided to work at maintaining our friendship.
- we decided to meet twice a year for lunch - and have been doing this for... what? Seriously, I have no idea when we started this...but we've been consistent and it's always great!
- Even though we only officially see each other 2 times a year each time we get together it's like we just saw each other...no time passes.
- But, our lives have changed greatly over the years.
- weddings
- babies
- grand-babies
- boyfriends
- degrees
- new jobs
- lost jobs
- kids moving home
- kids moving away from home
- husbands retiring
- laughter, tears, more laughter
- lots and lots of cheesecake
- And most importantly, immediate support when one of the group decides to go for broke and join the Peace Corps!
